Essence by Faith is a company that started as a result of my desire to change things for the better. When I was 13, I relaxed my hair. My hair became damaged and started falling out. This led me to create my own product which is what I use every time I was wash my hair. My mother noticed that my hair was regaining its strength because of the product. I then started selling the product. People only gave positive feedback on the product, so I decided to continue selling the product to people and to create this business.

My vision is to help unite black girls and help us to see each other as sisters and not as competition. This business aims to empower black girls through workshops and natural hair products.
There will be two programmes of workshops, one is about teaching black girls how to manage their hair and the other programme is about personal development, that will aid in helping to connect them to their purpose and help them to find themselves and get connected to who they are as a young woman and, especially as a young black woman.
